the first seed

Over time I have come to discover that when you recognise the truth within yourself and take time to understand the depths of who you are… you begin to see truth in all of its forms.
The tendency to mould the words you speak, your passions, or the desire to hold yourself back to suit the norm fades away. Love for the whole grows tremendously and a deeper understanding develops of the things that are most important. You realise that nothing is ever, or can ever be personal and the desire to feel good everyday overrides anything else.
. . .
I believe every single one of us has something great to offer inside, just waiting to be brought to life, like a seed that is yet to sprout. And although many may find those words a struggle to read. I feel it is true... expressed wonderfully by the wise Marianne Williamson;
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. You playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around us. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
. . .
Other than words as a means of communication, they are sometimes scarce for meaning without truth. That which creates movement from the inside out, the kind that leaves you nowhere but the present moment, those words powered by such an authenticity they leave you pondering where on earth they actually come from. Those that simply flow through.
Similar to a cloud which is due to rain. The difference being a cloud never holds itself full; and similar to clouds, as humans, when we allow our truest selves without any analysis or second thought; we open a space that brings us together. A space free of judgement, one full of mutual connection and understanding.
Truth is in all of us, wisdom is in all of us, but to truly connect with ourselves, others and the world around us is a beautiful rarity many few experience.
I can’t exactly pin point the direction this will grow and find peace in understanding that I don't need to. All I know is that for too long there has been too little genuine connection, and the place it begins is within us.
